''Julián Antonio Tomás Aguirre 1936 - 1969 was a member of the Aguirre family. Julian was born on January 9, 1936. Julian died on May 1969 at 33 years old.
He received his education at the Madrid Conservatory. In 1886 he returned to Argentina and established himself as a pianist. He eventually settled in Buenos Aires where he played an important role in the music of the city. His compositions, mostly for voice or small instrumental ensembles, are written in a nationalist style that utilizes Creole melodies. He earned a reputation as one of the most valued Argentinian composers of his time.''
